IDP undertakes offshore ROV pipeline and structure inspections, geophysical and geotechnical site investigations (IDP GeoSurvey), commercial vessel supply using both the company's own and third-party charter vessels (IDP Marine), commercial surface-air supply intervention and maintenance diving operations (IDP SubSea) and general agency services, including programme and project management, within the offshore oil and gas, renewable energy and utilities industries.

Vessels

IDP owns and operates a variety of offshore and inshore vessels on behalf of the company’s clients, including MV Clupea, a 32m geophysical survey vessel capable of accommodating 9 charterer’s personnel (expandable to 14), and MV Dornoch, a former RNR Clovelly Class Tender.  Inshore vessels include MV Trojan, a 10m aluminium survey vessel, together with two high-speed rigid inflatables used for rapid deployment of personnel and supplies to locations offshore.

About Us

IDP is a modern and versatile marine contracting group that provides clients with a broad range of services in the marine environment.  The dedicated IDP team comprises survey personnel, commercial dive teams and marine crews, supported by experienced managers, HSE personnel and IT staff.  A substantial operational base in Lowestoft provides technical and logistical support to offshore personnel during the company’s operations.

IDP operates a documented health and safety management system certified by Quality Management Systems in accordance with the requirements of ISO 18001, together with a quality assurance framework certified in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001.  IDP also holds accreditations for Environmental Management (ISO 14001), Information Security (ISO 27001) and Business Continuity Management (BS 25999).
