IDP SubSea

IDP SubSea provides clients with a broad range of diving and coastal civil engineering services. The company’s personnel are experienced in the provision of submarine cable landing protection and maintenance operations; scour assessment inspection surveys, salvage and recovery operations, debris site clearance within aggregate zones, dock wall inspection and maintenance works, and installation, location and recovery of deployed oceanographic instrumentation.

IDP SubSea operates under a rigorous quality assurance and health and safety framework, developed and constantly re-visited during its busy offshore programme, ensuring diving operations are conducted safely and effectively. The company’s Safety Management System was developed in accordance with relevant sections of the International Oil and Gas Producers Guidelines on Commercial Diving Operations.

All IDP SubSea divers hold the following certification as a minimum:

HSE Pt 1 or equivalent

In date medical certificate

Diver First Aid / Diver Medic Certificate

Offshore Survival Certificates

Relevant job specific Certificates

All diving operations commence with extensive onshore safety briefings, addressing any generic or site-specific hazards likely to be experienced during a particular work programme. Safety issues are further re-enforced with toolbox talks before diving operations commence.

All supervisors will be familiar and have experience in the type of work being undertaken, they will also hold a letter of appointment and a Certificate of competence.
